Hello and Welcome!
This photo is of me and my 3 dogs in 1998, about a year after I had seriously begun professional training.
Roscoe, my Rottie, I trained to be a therapy dog at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. He never needed a leash.
My Springer Spaniel, Chelsea, needed significant training as she had bird-hunting instincts (Doggie ADD - "Squirrel!") and separation anxiety. The key to her training = Distraction!
And then we have poor Charlie, the skittish Sheltie we took in for Johnny Depp and his sister Christie. He needed lots of gentle training to earn his trust.
Three very different breeds with very different personalities and training needs.
My Story
At 55, I've experienced a lot of personal growth and change, as many of you have or will. But one thing that has never wavered is my deep love for working with dogs and their owners—it's pure joy!
My journey began in Los Angeles, where my former spouse and I discovered and worked for many years with Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer) and Tamar Gellar of The Loved Dog.
Moving to Boca Raton a few years ago broadened my horizons. I genuinely believe there are no bad dogs. Dogs want to please; if you allow them to misbehave, they will. They’ll do whatever you allow. If you let them pull you, for example...Well, guess what they’ll do? Precisely that—take YOU for a walk (or a drag).

But if you teach them to heel and establish yourself as the alpha, you’ll have a happy, less-stressed dog and a happy, less-stressed owner.
This is the foundation for a harmonious relationship, not a chaotic one. Happy dogs make happy homes. It’s not just about training a dog; it’s about building a strong, positive relationship with your dog.
